CPAP Compliance Monitoring is a $95 virtual visit (20–30 min) where Asha Inniss, DNP, reviews your CPAP usage data, addresses problems, and helps you meet the adherence standards insurers and Insurance expect. It keeps your therapy effective — and your equipment coverage on track.

Why does CPAP compliance matter?

CPAP only works when it’s used consistently, and Insurance and insurers require documented adherence to keep covering your equipment. Monitoring catches problems early and protects your coverage.

What happens in a monitoring visit?

Asha reviews your usage and pressure data, troubleshoots issues (leaks, discomfort, low usage), and adjusts the plan so therapy keeps working.

How is it different from CPAP Coaching?

Coaching is non-clinical comfort and habit support. Compliance Monitoring is a clinical visit that reviews data and your treatment and can be billed to Insurance where covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Medicare generally requires patients to use their CPAP machine for at least 4 hours per night on 70% of nights during a consecutive 30-day period within the first 90 days of therapy. A follow-up visit with your healthcare provider is also required to document that CPAP therapy is benefiting you. We help patients understand these requirements and stay on track with their treatment.

CPAP monitoring is the clinical review of your therapy data to assess how well your treatment is working, identify issues such as mask leaks or persistent breathing events, and determine whether adjustments or follow-up care are needed.

CPAP coaching focuses on education, motivation, and practical strategies to help you become comfortable using your CPAP. Coaching addresses challenges like mask fit, bedtime routines, travel tips, and adapting to therapy, while monitoring focuses on your treatment performance and clinical progress.
